Elegance

The "Madison River" was once part of the proud business car fleet of the Northern Pacific. It was the favorite of railroad president Denney as it had the best riding qualities. Equipped with a kitchen, dining room, two bedrooms, a compartment, a secretary's room, a cook and porter's room, two showers and an observation room, it was the pride of its day. Today, it is the only heavyweight Northern Pacific business car that remains intact.
