For over 25 years, people have been coming to the Lake Whatcom Railway Christmas trains.  Santa Claus talks with each child individually as the train goes from Wickersham into the the Whatcom County forest, and back to Wickersham.  Elves hand out free candy canes, Ben plays Christmas music on his banjo and the Coffee Shop car sells delicious food.  Trips take about 1.5 hours, depending upon how detailed each child becomes with Santa.  All trips are by reservation only since almost all the Christmas trains sell out every year.
